The Maine Island Trail is a 375-mile water trail for boaters extending the length of the Maine coast. A recreational water trail, it connects over 240 wild islands and mainland sites open for day use or overnight camping. Boaters of all kinds are invited to discover wild islands and mainland sites along the entire Maine coast from Kittery. to Cobscook Bay.
The Maine Island Trail Association (MITA) is made up of thousands of caring members who have amazing adventures on the Maine Island Trail and support stewardship of Maine’s wild islands.
$45 Individual Membership – Includes the annual Trail Guidebook and full access to the Maine Island Trail Mobile App for one user
$65 Family Membership – Includes the annual Trail Guidebook and full access to the Maine Island Trail Mobile App for up to 2 users* (this level is intended to reflect family use of the Trail)
